Born in the wrong time

Just got back from seeing Water for Elephants and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get my time machine working and travel back to the 1920's and join a traveling circus. Ahhh, it would be so nice to live in a time when romance was still alive. I love watching movies because you can just disappear to another place, even if it's just for a little while.

It's like when my grandma tells me the story of how she and my grandpa met. She had gone to some party with her parents. She was wearing a yellow sweater, and he told he really liked it! Ah, I can just imagine being at a party with your parents and a strappin' young lad saunters over and asks you to dance because he likes your sweater. It's so romantic! Just a sweet story. Now-a-days all you hear about is how a dude walks over and says how he likes your sweater but it would look better laying on his floor. Ha!

That's my Granny in a yellow sweater. I bet my grandpa would like it!

Anyways, I am going to join the circus, and take care of the elephants with a guy just like Joseph. If that doesn't work out I will join the freak show and be the fat lady in training! Waaa...waaaa...waaaa.

Things that make me smile

Sometimes when I have a crappy day, I just like to look at some of the pictures I have taken. These are the ones that made me smile...
Can we go back?

Is it Spring yet?

The incredible eight legged dog!

He normally tucks his tail in his shorts, but today he let it all hang out!

Rice crispy treats and fruit salad...yes please!

Hanging out watching the birds.

A Valentine from my guy Jack.

Another cherished weekend

It won't be long before my weekends disappear and the water park opens for another season. I hate how my life gets sucked away during the summer. So, for now, I have been trying to spend my weekends having fun.

Friday night, we had an impromptu BBQ at my house in celebration of the Spring weather. It was a beautiful day and we got to eat out on the patio. We had hamburgers, fruit salad, and chips. Taryn made an Oreo dessert and there was also pecan pie! Yum! On Saturday, I had to go to work at 12 and un-arm the park (we are open on the weekends for people to buy passes). Then I went over to Justin and Amber's to hang out. I played with Harper and watched t.v. for a while. Then I went home and started organizing my bedroom. I cleaned out all my drawers and my closet, organized everything and got rid of stuff that doesn't fit or that I don't wear.

Today I got to spend the day with the ever darling Harper Blair. She has to be the cutest thing ever. We went to Target and I found the Tickle Me Elmo that I wanted to get her for Christmas, some bubbles, a ball, and a pinwheel. She and Jack loved watching the bubbles, and they both wanted to chew on the pinwheel. She also cracked up when the Elmo rolled on the floor laughing. When I had it turned off, she would crawl over to Elmo and give it kisses and bite it's nose.

I can't believe how big she is getting. It's crazy to think that at this time last year, she wasn't even born! I'm excited to watch her grow up. It's so much fun watching her learn. When Justin and Amber brought her over today, Justin sang pat-a-cake, and she started clapping her hands! She waves goodbye, and also raises her hands when you ask her how big she is, "So big!"

On a side note....maybe they read my post, because I didn't call them, but PRISON BREAK IS BACK! I was super excited when I saw Prison break back in my instant que from Netflix.

Date nights with Wentworth shall continue! Ha!

Off with a Warning!

I don't know why I have such good luck with cops, but I am thankful for it. I got pulled over in the construction zone on Ten Mile for going 37 in a 25. Yikes! As soon as I saw the cop car, I knew I was going to get pulled over, and sure enough I did. I though for sure I would get a ticket, I mean 37 in a 25 construction zone, duh! But the officer came back and said he was just going to let me off with a warning. Hallelujah! Don't ask me how I got so lucky....it must be my good looks ;-)

They stole my boyfriend!

It's never a good thing when you find out they have taken someone near and dear to your heart.

Especially when you just met and have been seeing each other every night for the last week. Just when you thought you had something going. I mean, really how often does this actually happen?

It breaks my heart. Now what am I suppose to do with all my time. I can't stare into his eyes. Or get all giddy when he gives me that cute little smirk.

I also really didn't care that he was in prison...

I am going to voice my complaint to Netflix and tell, no DEMAND that they put Prison Break back on the instant viewer!

Now I am actually going to have to be committed to Wentworth, and get the dang dvds.

Ehhh, it should be OK cause he's very dreamy!!!
